• Responsible to create and maintain drawings with CAD system & technical documentation
• Accountable to layout and design of mechanical (plastic/metal) components and parts
• Responsible to create and maintain part lists (BOM), provide BOM and BOM changes to EIS team
• Improve existing solutions based on technical requirements
• Prepare functional cost analysis for new and existing products
• Follow the project schedule according Product Innovation Framework PIF process
• Improve designs according to input from project team members
• Support line and warranty teams for drawing changes and BOM updates
• Ensure all drawings and documents are up-to-date based on engineering change (EC) requests
• Apply content driven engineering (follow BES-PE principles)
• Apply all processes according to valid PT and Bosch procedures published in BGN
• Support and take over special tasks on section and department level as assigned by the superior
• Key person for Kit level overview/update on cordless product
• Support and takeover special tasks as assigned by supervisor

• Degree in Mechanical / Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Science or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years working experience in manufacturing environment (mechanical design).
• Good in design of metal/plastic components and/or part assemblies for consumer goods or household appliances.
• Exposure to the manufacturing process of plastic and metal components, especially injection molding.
• Ability to transfer of technical requirements into a design solution by applying a systematic approach
• Knowledge of Pro-E CAD system or other CAD systems.
• Self-motivated, result-oriented, proactive and a team player with strong interpersonal, communications and leadership skills
• Ability to manager personnel time to ensure completion of assignments
