Job Description

Leadership of an engineering team (technicians / engineers) to meet department’s goals (technical availability, cycle time and defect cost targets).

  • Responsible to reach technical availability, cycle time and defect cost targets for equipments under his supervision
  • Support on Specification, validation and release of new production equipment Manufacturing Execution System (MES).
  • Support on Specification, validation and release of new production traceability data External/internal customer requirement.
  • Responsible to guarantee high availability for MES system.
  • Analyze MES system failure to identify root cause and provide accurate solutions.
  • Ensure manufacturing process compliance with engineering principles, customer requirements, Bosch standards and process specifications.
  • Leadership in continuous improvement projects and cost reduction activities related to MES system.
  • Participate in the creation/update of PFMEA for new projects and process changes related to MES system.
  • Administrative management of his team: overtime / vacation / absence / discipline.
  • Deep knowledge of advanced manufacturing processes (test / automation / mechanical engineering, traceability / SW/ industrial engineering).
  • General knowledge in standardized work / time studies / ergonomics.
  • Projects presentation to management.
  •  Define and track goals for his team based on department’s goals.
  • Participation in business planning activities (manpower / equipment).


  • ​​​​​​Bachelors in Computer science, Systems engineering or related
  • Advanced English (mandatory)
  • Proficient in communication to all levels.
  • Proficient negotiation skills
  • Strong Leadership skills
  • Knowledge of database administration.
  • Basic knowledge in programming (e.g. SQL)
  • Availability to travel and no legal restrictions to obtain Mexican Passport & Visa.
  • Experience in the automotive industry standards or the electronic manufacturing Industry.
