Job Description

The Powertrain Solutions division develops and manufactures innovative technologies for the entire powertrain in the market segments of Electrification, Passenger Cars, Commercial Vehicles and Off-Highway.

With our trend-setting and innovative mobility concepts, we are a preferred worldwide partner for innovative solutions and dynamically contribute to the change in mobility. Doing so, we help our customers to significantly reduce their costs, fuel consumption and CO2 emissions.

In addition, we enable a completely new driving experience

Your contribution to something big:

  • Responsible for leading hardware engineering projects to develop power electronic units used in hybrid and electric vehicles
  • Representation of hardware development during negotiations and meetings internallly as well as with external customers
  • Responsible for regular exchange and alignment with other project domains (e.g. Mechanics, SW, etc.)
  • Responsible for defining and controlling time, resources, budget and specification
  • Coordination, implementation and tracking of project changes during the entire development phase
  • Responsible for defining, deploying and controlling hardware requirements
  • Preparation of risk assessments and risk mitigation strategies to higher management and customers



What distinguishes you:

  • BSc or MSc degree in electronic or power-electronic engineering or comparable
  • Experience in project management in automotive field
  • Ability to lead interdisciplinary development teams
  • Good coordination and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to manage concurrent tasks
  • Ability to efficiently gain an overview on complex technical contents or complex project situations
  • Structured working method
  • Willingness to travel
  • Process and quality orientation
  • Fluent English or German language skills
