Job Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

·       Responsible for managing system test team in ADAS area

       -  Diving and implementing system test strategies for multiple ADAS sensors.

 ·       Alignment of Group to the Company Vision, Mission, strategy, and objectives within group

·       Operating from Bangalore & Willingness to travel based on business needs


·       Responsible for appropriate staffing of all projects with assignment of roles and responsibilities

·       Planning and allocation of resources for projects, tools, hardware, etc.  and ensure deployment as per targets

- Awareness of ASPICE, CMMI and ISO quality standards

- Awareness of Functional Safety (ISO26262), legal requirements related to automotive industry, especially vehicle safety

·       Delivery of all tasks/projects on schedule and with quality

·       Responsible for service quality & service levels within the group for the products/services

·       Periodic review of all projects to ensure QCD on track & MSR reporting to management, customer & Stake-holders

·       Support in department level business planning activities

·       Customer Engagement and Satisfaction – delivery to Cost, Quality, and Schedule

·       Interfaces and influencing

o   Engage and influence Group Leads and Project Managers counterparts at customer end

o   Manage customer visits, project status review and reporting

o   Supporting project acquisition

Process and Technology:

·       Support corporate functions for process implementation, lessons learned, optimization & improvements

·       Knowledge on Configuration Management, Requirement Management & Defect Tracking tools

·       Knowledge in Python is an added advantage

·       Create technological innovation (including patents) strategy, drive & knowledge management

People Management / Associate Engagement:

·       Associate Career Development & engagement via the available instruments such as GPD, CDD, TAR, ASxx

·       Plan, nominate & coach TCP, PCP & Line associates for targeted development as per talent assessment

·       Plan appropriate competency development, approve training for group members

·       Performance reviews and feedback

·       Recruitment planning for group as per skill metrics and team composition pyramid

·       Team building activities

·       Communication of identified measures and tracking implementation of measures

·       Contribution to department/section/organization goals & initiatives

  • B.Tech/M.Tech - EE/ECE/CS with 14+ years of experience

  • Experience in managing Technical projects/programs with geographically distributed teams

  • Domain knowledge on automotive embedded tests preferable for ADAS area

  • Good knowledge on advanced technologies applicable for ADAS area ( HiL, SiL etc)

  • Knowledge on CI / CT frameworks will be added avantage

  • Experience in People management of at least 25+ engineers

  • Bosch PM qualification or PMP is a must
  • Proactive application of engineering methods (BES-PE, e.g. DRBFM)
  • GPTW certified Manager desirable
  • Strong Experience & Ability to dive deep in the automotive technical domain
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills specially with European, Japanese and North America customers
