Job Description

In the automotive industry the electrical power steering is a key component for autonomous driving and mandatory for all related road transportation solutions. Especially the domains SW and HW of our Steering System are confronted with a high demand of innovation. To tangle this future challenges, we are looking for team members who are open-minded and eager to learn. To achieve this, we will support you with an environment to grow your own experience & skills.

In our HW department in Budapest we have all needed domains to be part of the next generation of steering systems but also the responsibility from acquisition to the series support of our EE component.

Your contribution to something big

  • Planning and coordination of the safety activities for Functional Safety ISO26262 related product development and maintenance
  • Maintenance the safety plan, and monitoring the progress of the safety activities against the safety plan
  • Representing Bosch in customer negotiations regarding functional safety topics in acquisitions and in running projects
  • Safety concept analysis for new and change projects
  • Conducting safety reviews, review product release for Functional Safety
  • perspective
  • Planning of Safety assessments and audits, preparation of organization
  • Contribution to developing a safety culture within the department

Qualifications

What distinguishes you

  • Bsc/Msc degree in electrical engineering, mechatronics or comparable
  • Initiative and creativity, persuasion and assertiveness and social skills
  • Enjoy working in an international environment
  • Excellent technical leadership, planning and organization skills
  • Experience with safety standards ISO26262 or IEC61508
  • Experience with customer communication
  • Advantageous: experience in quality methods like FMEA, FMEDA or FTA
  • Advantageous: experience regarding mechatronic systems
  • Advantageous: experience with ASPICE
  • English advanced (German skills are beneficial)
