Robert Bosch LLC seeks a Manufacturing Engineer - TL at its facility located at 4421 North Hwy 81, Anderson, SC 29621. Responsible for managing and relocating projects from Germany to USA. Responsible for coordinating the transfer of products to be launched in the USA from Germany. Responsible for product design and product testing. Liaison to project managers within the international production network. Responsible for facilitating tools to improve projects efficiency. Define, assign, follow-up individual goals / RollingTop5 Shainin projects. Responsible for coaching and defining individual development plans for engineers business intelligence /Big data. Responsible for analyzing statistical Big data using problem solving methods such as Shainin, 8D, Six sigma. Responsible for the execution of interconnected I4.0 tools throughout value stream. Responsible for acquiring new production equipment and coordinating product release through cross-functional teamwork. Developing international FMEA exchange system standards for product areas. Responsible for coordinating and leading the implementation of major engineering changes within the international production network Capacity/Budget. Responsible for production volume, machine and capacity calculations as well as planning and coordinating capital for future investment. Titles and Number of Employees Supervised by Position: Total 9: (6) Manufacturing Engineers (2) Students and (1) Technician. REQS: This position requires a Bachelors degree, or foreign equivalent, in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science or related degree, plus 6 years of professional work experience in developing material/process improvements in ceramic manufacturing and development. Additionally, the applicant must have professional experience with: (1). Functional, process and raw material for screen-printed oxygen sensor elements; (2). Coordinating with cross-functional departments for international high-volume automotive manufacturing relocation/launch projects; (3). Shainin, 8D, or Six Sigma; (4). Lean Manufacturing and quality management systems processes; and (5). Capacity and capital investment planning for international product and process transfer. Apply below.
