Job Description

In this role as a Key Account Manager for our Building Technology business, you will manage, develop and expand the relationships with the assigned strategic accounts. You be hold sales quota for the assigned strategic accounts to meet business objectives for national and/or global partners of Bosch Security Systems. You will fully engage in the sales process, selling to the higher level National and/or Global Account Managers, Sales Representatives or Account Executives within the assigned account’s organization. You will promote the entire range of Bosch Security products, while leading the account planning process, ensuring that customer needs and expectations are clearly defined and met. You will support customers across the local Region, and therefore requires extensive travel. You will establish productive, professional relationships with corporate and field personnel for assigned accounts. You will meet assigned targets for sales volume and strategic objectives and identify and communicate the involvement of necessary Bosch resources to achieve account objectives and meet customer expectations, including: Bosch management, sales (direct and manufacturer’s representatives), business development, technical support, customer service.


To be successful in this role, you must have a Bachelor’s Degree in technical or related field with at least 7 years in technical Sales and working with SMT levels within an organization in the Security solutions industry. You must be entrepreneurial and be innovative with ability to conceptualize and implement strategic market/product planning. You should have excellent technical and interpersonal skill with good follow-up and integrative abilities. You should be a strong team player but still be able to work independently when needed. You must be resourceful and self-confident to drive the product business. Candidate with strong proficiency in CRM applications and MS office skills will be an added advantage. Due to the requirements of the role which requires you to manage key accounts across the region, you must be able to travel 80% for your role.
