We are developing 48V Drive solutions for mild hybrid electrical vehicles (mHEV) and potentially electrical vehicles. The introduction of 48V systems is an essential, cost effective move by the automotive industry towards the reduction of the emission and the fuel consumption of vehicles. The 48V Drive is responsible for the energy recuperated during braking and for transmitting the energy during acceleration for additional torque.
As a Safety Manager, You would be responsible to establish a Safety Organization within the department in order to deal with 48V related product development and maintenance. Besides You would act a Project Safety Manager in the specific development projects to oversee and ensure the execution of activities necessary to achieve functional safety.
Your responsibilities to achieve our common goal:
► Planning and coordination of the safety activities for Functional Safety ISO26262 related product development and maintenance
► Maintenance the safety plan, and monitoring the progress of the safety activities against the safety plan
► Creation and development of Safety Organization of 48V & High Voltage related development activities within the department
► Competence Management for Safety Organization
► Technical lead for Functional Safety for e-drive systems; safety concept analysis for new and change projects
► Conducting safety reviews, review product release for Functional Safety
► Planning of Safety assessments and audits, preparation of organization
What makes you special:
► Msc in a relevant technical engineering field (Electrical Engineering, IT)
► Minimum of 3 years’ experience in development in automotive safety-related products
► Solid background in at least one field (electronics, embedded software, or system control strategy) and a good
awareness of the others. Preferably experience with e-drive systems.
► Detailed knowledge and proven experience with ISO 26262, familiar with automotive development and quality process.
► Experience with change, configuration, and problem resolution management.
► Solid knowledge of conducting safety analysis (D-FMEA, FTA, FMEDA, DFA, FFI).
► Excellent technical leadership, planning and organization skills.
► Strong decision making when subjected to limited information, translated into assumptions to be verified and communicated.
► Experience with direct customer (including OEM) communication
► High degree of personal integrity and confidence.
► Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and tasks - prioritization, planning and task delegation
► Very good English skills (German is an advantage)
