We are developing 48V Drive solutions for mild hybrid electrical vehicles (mHEV) and potentially electrical vehicles. The introduction of 48V systems is an essential, cost effective move by the automotive industry towards the reduction of the emission and the fuel consumption of vehicles. The 48V Drive is responsible for the energy recuperated during braking and for transmitting the energy during acceleration for additional torque.
As a Project Manager, You would be responsible for the 48V Drive Inverter including technical management of the running generation BRM Inverter. As a next step, you would be in charge of next generation variant development of new generation.
Your responsibilities to achieve our common goal:
► Interface between customer and Bosch with regards to BRM Inverter product
► Coordinate international development team including System, Software, Hardware, Mechanics and Reliability
► Manage timelines, open issues, reporting of project status & risks
► Assessment of customer requirements for changes, preparation of quotations for sales
► Facilitate technical discussions
► Channel and follow up of product claim process with the customer
► Supervise process for Software and System Releases including relevant documentations, review of System test cases and reports
► Negotiate technical questions and solutions with the customer, channel domain related technical points towards the customer
► Review of the System related technical documents (specification, concept, architecture, etc.)
► Priorization and decision making over product related topics by understanding the technical context properly
► Bsc or Msc in electrical engineer study background
► At least 3 years experience in the field of automotive engineering
► Experience as a Project Manager for complex products which included System, SW, HW development
► Experience with any of the following (if not all): Functional Safety ISO26262, DRBFM, Requirements Engineering, FMEA
► Advantage: experience with drives (e.g. 12V, 48V, higher power,…)
► You are a self-starter with excellent risk management skills
► You see the big picture considering all the technical aspects
► You have very good English skills (German is an advantage)
► You have strong personality and are good at leading teams
