Welcome to Bosch.
The Bosch Engineering Centre of Budapest has been established in 2005. Today, it is a major research and development hub within the Bosch world focusing on the big mobility trends: automated, electrified and connected mobility. More than 2700 engineers are working together on complex automotive products within various fields of engineering from software to mechanical and hardware product development. Your ideas will be part of products improving the life across the globe.
Join ramping up Bosch 48V electronics development at the exciting time of hybridization and electrification of the automotive industry!
We are developing Battery Management Systems (BMS) for 48V Li-ion batteries for mild hybrid electrical vehicles (mHEV) and potentially electrical vehicles. The introduction of 48V systems is an essential, cost effective move by the automotive industry towards the reduction of the emission and the fuel consumption of vehicles. The 48V high performance battery that includes the BMS electronics is responsible for storing the energy recuperated during braking and for providing energy during acceleration for additional torque.
As a System Engineer, You would be responsible for the development of the 48V battery including the Battery Management System module which monitors and controls the state and the performance of the battery, communicates with the main control unit of the vehicle, and intervenes when necessary.
