Job Description

At Cross-Domain Computing Solutions - Advanced Network (XC-AN) we develop electrical control units (ECUs) responsible for the connectivity inside and outside of the vehicle and electrical load management.

One of our most complex products are the Body Computer Modules (BCM) and Zone-ECUs controlling comfort and safety functionalities of the vehicle, e.g.: lights, access system, climate, personalisation incl. online connectivity.

We are looking for System Engineer responsible for the definition and clarification of ECU functionalities together with our customers and engineering domains.

Your contribution to something big:

► Define functional requirements at ECU level

► Develop system architecture and decompose requirements to system elements

► Leading technical discussions internally and with customers

► Close cooperation with the development domains (SW, HW, Mechanics, Test)

► Participate in vehicle test sessions for new functionalities


What distinguishes you:

►Bsc/Msc in electrical, mechatronics, transportation engineering or equivalent

►Experience in embedded SW, HW, Mechanic or System development

►Experience with requirement management tools (e.g.: DOORS)

►Basic knowledge of model-based architecture design tools and methods (e.g.: Rhapsody, Enterprise Architect)

►Good problem solving skills and analytic mindset

►Initiative and creative personality

►Strong negotiation and leadership skills

►Good English language skills, German is an advantage

►Experience in the automotive industry is an advantage
