ETAS Inc. seeks a Senior Cyber Security Consultant at its facility located at 3021 Miller Rd, Ann Arbor, MI, 48103. Provide technical support to US automotive manufacturers and Tier-1 suppliers in the areas concerning embedded and automotive cyber security. Meet with clients to assess their security needs, security goals and security strategy. Perform security analysis of existing security implementations and architectures. Utilize the information collected from the evaluation to develop a Security Risk Assessment (SRA). Derive various security needs from the SRA to create additional work products for the client called a security concept. Responsible for supporting the secure coding development process and design of secure Electronic Control Units (ECU) and vehicle systems. Lead project development efforts with regards to developing customized software for client projects in the area of embedded data security. Provide security training to clients as well as represent the company at trade shows, conferences and similar events to promote the security products, services and solutions. Engage the client in security product and services sales meetings as the technical expert. REQS: This position requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems Engineering, Information Technology or Information Security, plus 3 years of work experience in security within the automotive industry. Additionally, the applicant must have professional experience with: (1) Embedded cryptographic library integration as well as the ability to apply secure system design methodologies for automotive platforms; (2) Designing Enterprise IT security system architectures and methodologies for secure End-to-End communications for automotive platforms; (3) Developing Automotive focused Security Risk Assessments (aka Threat & Risk Analysis), Security Concepts, Security Requirements, Security Implementation documents as well as comprehensive Security Engineering Processes; (4) AutoSAR security standards with an emphasis on In-Vehicle Secure Communications (SecOC); and (5) Hardware Security Modules (HSM) and Secure Hardware Extension (SHE) Key Management solutions for Automotive embedded use-cases.
