Job Description

In a modern passenger car approximately 100 electrical control units communicate to provide safe, comfortable and breath-taking driving experience. At the heart of this complex network, the instrument cluster, the smart displays and the infotainment system play a key role. Our products driven by powerful real-time embedded systems, ranging from single chip through multi-processing environments to SoC solutions handling ten thousands of requirements from our customers and from the premium car makers of the world. We develop innovative and exciting software solutions in an international team with our partners all over the world in new platform and customer projects. Testing the software and verification of the system is a must for the correct and safe operation.

► Lead and drive test automation development topics as a lead test engineer

► Participate in our Product Engineering team

► Technical co-ordination with testers, requirement engineers and architects

► Create system test cases based on physical system constraints, according to system design and independently from the implementation (either HW, SW or Mechanic)

► Planning, definition and maintenance of test and measurement setups, tools and environments

► Specification and implementation of test cases according to feature requirements

► Execution of tests

► Interpretation and review of test results and cooperation with software and hardware developers during failure analysis

► Systematic documentation of results

    Qualifications

    Requirements:

     

    ► MSc or BSc degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or similar

    ► Analytical thinking, quality orientation, attention to details, good communication skills, initiative;

    ► Ability to work independently and in an international team

    ► Knowing of testing methods (e.g. ISTQB certificate) is an advantage

    ► Fluent in English;

     

    Preferably:

     Programming (test automation development) skills, preferably Python, C/C++

    ► Experience in embedded and real-time software testing

    ► Experience in TDD / BDD processes

    ► Experience in agile methodologies

    ► Experience in automotive industry or a field with similar reliability and safety requirements

    ► Good knowledge on automotive protocols like CAN, Flexray, etc

    ► Knowledge of Vector tools like CANoe, vTESTstudio

    ► Know-how in computer vision, camera systems, and ADTF framework is an advantage.
