Job Description

The divisions Chassis Systems Control (CC) and Automotive Steering (AS) develop innovative components, systems and functions in the field of vehicle safety, vehicle dynamics and driver assistance. Through the combination of systems based on cameras, radar and ultrasonic sensors, electric power steering and active or passive safety systems we not only make driving safer and more comfortable today but we are also building the basis for the autonomous driving of tomorrow.

Your contribution to something big:

►      Preparation of drawings and 3D CAD models

►      Creating project documentation such as reports, presentations and calculations

►      Technical collaboration with project members, customers and suppliers

►      Prepare technical evaluations and support mechanical component and final product release

►      Support activities of design and process FMEAs, DRBFM, 8D etc..

►      Data management in a product data management (PDM) system

►      Prepare, follow-up and introduce engineering changes into serial production


What distinguishes you:

►      Bsc/Msc degree in mechanical engineering, mechatronics or comparable

►      Knowledge of at least one CAD system(s)

►      Good English and/or German language skills

►      Technical knowledge in different production technologies

►      Experience in the automotive industry or development is an asset

►      Target oriented, structured and independent mind with precision and analytical skills

►      Willingness to travel to Germany for shorter training/business periods as required
