ETAS – RTA Solutions is established in the automotive market as a high competence, high quality and effective organisation.  We pride ourselves on supporting our customers across a variety of topics with a major focus on advanced embedded systems – for example many core systems, hypervisors – classic and adaptive AUTOSAR – for example training, migration and extensions – and functional safety (e.g. ISO26262 compliance)

Job Description

We are looking for a candidate to be placed as Embedded Software Engineer in our department in Turin, joining an international team.

The resource will support the team in the following activities:

Help shaping the future: You will develop software for automotive embedded products with a strong focus on AUTOSAR architecture. Working mainly on internal projects and if needed can support Customer projects and on-site engineering to fulfill specific customer requirements. Member of ETAS team based in Turin/Italy

Experience cooperation: You will work as part of an engineering team or independently as required

Take on responsibility: You will support customer with on-site engineering or coaching if needed

Reliable implementation: You will prepare appropriate technical documentation.

Education: Master Degree in Computer Science, Control Engineering or Electronics

Experience and know-how: Solid in SW embedded development of which at least 2 within the automotive domain. Excellent SW development skills in C / C++. Knowledge of network protocols in automotive bus systems (CAN, LIN, Ethernet, FlexRay). Significant experience in embedded software engineering (incl. Requirements management, Software Architecture, Software Module Design and Test, Software Integration, Fault Tracking) Good Knowledge of AUTOSAR architecture standard and ETAS toolchain. Good Knowledge of Cyber Security Knowledge of MISRA coding standard. Knowledge of Configuration Management and Change Management tools (SVN, GIT, JIRA, Rational). Knowledge of quality management processes for the software development lifecycle (V-Cycle and Scrum). Knowledge of functional safety standard (ISO 26262)
