sia Abrasives Ltd (part of the Bosch Power Tools/Accessories Division) is an innovative manufacturer of non-woven and foam abrasive products as well as a distributer in the UK of coated abrasives. The sites in Greetland, West Yorkshire and Alfreton, Derbyshire, have a wealth of experience in the manufacture and development of abrasive products, ideally complementing sia Abrasives’ systems solutions.
► Ensure all activities are carried out in accordance with Bosch procedures and legislation and taking full account of all relevant Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality requirements.
► Customer Order Management & Execution
► Assist in measurement setting and monitor of KPI’s
► Oversees maintenance of total demand requirements based on customer forecast, releases and internal demand requirements for assigned responsibly.
► Interfaces with customer contact to determine and establish validity of demand requirements and communication of shipment delivery
► Define and maintain appropriate finished goods levels to meet LOG targets
► Provide Internal / External communication for all Customer Service / Shipment related issues
► Provide visibility and assist in timely resolution / disposition of Quality related issues and customer requirements
► Coordination of Product Phase in / Phase out
► Working knowledge of LOG processes and functionality
► Taking an active role in driving improvement actions within other areas of the business.
► Remaining proactive in establishing relationships with counterparts in Marketing, Sales, IT, Planning Logistics, Physical Logistics, Accounting, and Other Departments.
► Communicating and cooperating within a cross-functional environment.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required:* Diploma degree in Supply Chain or Business would be ideal but not essential *Min 2 years business experience, preferably but not necessarily within a supply chain and logistics function such as demand planning, customer service or distribution planning in an automotive or consumer products business with emphasis on forecasting and statistics *Understanding of supply chain, fulfilment and forecasting models.*Ability to perform root cause analysis.*Demonstrated Project Management skills.*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including consensus building, meeting facilitation, and presentation skills.*Excellent IT skills, ERP systems and advanced Excel *Fluency in second European language, ideally German, advantageous*Educated to GCSE level in Maths/English at Grade C or above (or equivocal) * Willingness to accept change * Proactive and positive approach to tasks * Proactive self-starter able to work under own direction, a “starter-completer”, providing ongoing updates and follow project to completion* Demonstrate attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy *Strong adherence to health, safety, environment and quality standards
