The Bosch Engineering Centre of Budapest has been established in 2005. Today, it is a major research and development hub within the Bosch world focusing on the big mobility trends: automated, electrified and connected mobility. More than 2400 engineers are working together on complex automotive products within various fields of engineering from software to mechanical and hardware product development. Your ideas will be part of products improving the life across the globe.
The Automotive Electronics (AE) division develops new electronic control units (e.g. for combustion engines, comfort functions, airbags) and a wide range of sensors (e.g. for battery charge state, inertial, yaw-rate, pressure, NOx) in close cooperation with manufacturing. These products are engineered to a state of the art level both in technology and reliability and are to be found in cars of a very large group of manufacturers.
Connected cars and automated driving are two of the main trends in mobility today. Both require reliable communication among electronic devices within and outside the vehicle, and secure protection against cyber-attacks is crucial. This position is for an experienced engineer to provide technical leadership in the domain of embedded networking and product security. Our aim is to ensure that Bosch products for the automotive industry are not only safe and reliable, but also secure.
Your contribution to something big
► Provide technical leadership in a network and security testing team
► Develop and perform Ethernet and security testing of automotive products
► Provide expert advice on security topics, drive the deployment of best practices
► Support other teams with training, coaching and reviews
What distinguishes you?
► University degree in computer science or similar
► Detailed knowledge of Ethernet-based network protocols (ARP, DHCP, UDP, TCP/IP, etc.)
► Detailed knowledge of embedded security, with experience in penetration testing
► Basic understanding of HW and SW topics
► Ability to drive teamwork and also to work individually, with an analytical mind-set
► Good communication and presentation skills
► Active English knowledge
► Enthusiasm for cybersecurity
