Job Description

Strategic Purchasing:
A) Be best possible market expert in target material field or commodity. Gain in-depth market and supplier intelligence
B) Be the go-to for supplier recommendations to source components or products for the organization together with Technical Purchasing
C) Establish supplier business relationship, negotiate and agree general contracts such as corporate agreements, QAAs, NDAs, and or specific development contracts, OSS agreements or software licensing together with C/LS and/or Technical Purchasing
D) Setting-up material field or commodity strategy, target supplier structure as per business needs and drive implementation together with Technical Purchasing along business awardings
E) ) Analyze and evaluate supplier bids, tenders, proposals, or quotations; negotiate prices and delivery conditions. Interprete inventory requests, production schedules, purchase requisitions, orders, and other documents to co-ordinate purchasing activities.
F) Set-up competitive awardings together with Technical Purchasing, prepare supplier for bids and awardings, conduct awarding sessions. Close contracts.
G) Prepare, conduct and lead annual price negotiations to meet annual COGS savings targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or above, Business Administration, Finance, Industrial Engineering or comparable
• At least 1-year working experience in the field of Purchasing
• Team-oriented/Co-operation
• Commercial and strategic mindset
• Very good in both written and verbal English
• Experience in strategic purchasing and/or comparable
• Business related market knowledge
• Strong partnering and communication skills
• Advanced negotiation skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP systems preferably SAP MM
