Our main focus are the gas fired condensing appliances where the teams challenge the technology boundaries by setting the newly State of the Art for these products. The emissions limits are pushing to even more optimized/cleaner combustion, and with the increase of the additional heating options (heat pumps) the appliances should be able to work optimal in more complex systems. Job Description

What are you going to do as a Development Engineer
To be able to improve our products, we are searching for development engineers who will strengthen our R&D project teams and take the responsibility to test and validate the appliances itself or its components, and drive it through all the product development phases. In our modern laboratory tests are to be performed for clean combustion, central heating and domestic hot water efficiency, comfort, noise levels, etc.
Tasks are but not limited to

  • Understanding the Combustion and Thermodynamic principles of the cooperating components in our devices (cause-effect relationships).
  • Converting the interaction between these components into an arithmetic model, preferably in Simulink or Matlab (theoretical or empirical).
  • Preparation and execution of test activities in the laboratory to validate the samples in different project phases.
  • Discuss planning and follow-up steps with team and lead developer. Close cooperation with specialists (e.g. heat cell, software, electronics, CAD design and simulation engineers).

Qualifications

Your profile and experience

  • Bsc or Msc. level on Mechanical, Oil & Gas Engineering, Physics engineering or equivalent;
  • To be successful in the role you need to have experience in (one of) the following areas: combustion technology, heat transfer, mechanical, combustion measurements and control methods, and physics engineering;
  • You area able to connect various physical disciplines in a model (heat leather, chemistry, fluid theory, etc.);
  • Experience with product development and the product life cycle chain;
  • Combustion measurements and control engineering is highly desirable;
  • Creative, analytical sharpness, perseverance, and result orientated
  • Experience with: Simulink, Matlab, Python, LabVIEW is desired.
  • Good communication skills (team player, sharing know-how and results with colleagues).
  • Good level of English language written and spoken.
