Job Description

  • Support acquisition activities for business development & project management;
  • Organize and handle internal purchasing activities according to the legal, commercial and corporate standards of the organization;
  • Cooperate with procurement, accounting, logistics and controlling owners for efficiently organizing the internal procurement activities;
  • Proactively monitor and control project requisitions and provide corrective actions to the stakeholders;
  • Target standardization by answering questions and documenting solutions, describing and optimizing processes, procedures and working instructions in own area of responsibility;
  • Implement and follow-up KPIs in the area of internal procurement/purchasing;
  • Ensure correctness and accuracy of the acquisitions in SAP FI-CO;
  • Active involvement in project planning for the external resources;
  • Ensure that the procurement activities are within approved budgets;
  • Support and guide the business regarding commercial aspects by assessing the internal and external risks;
  • Efficiently contribute to project control and reporting;
  • Prepare the annual inventory activities, analysis and documentation for the assets and materials used by projects and activities;
  • Introduction of new employees into internal procurement/purchasing processes and activities;

 

Qualifications

Education:

  • University/Colleague Degree in Accounting/ Finance/ Economy;

Know-how:

  • Preferably 2-4 years working experience in Accounting/Commercial or Procurement operations/ Project management;
  • A good understanding of cost models/business models, familiar with accounting practices, commercial audits and valuations;
  • Overall knowledge of all supporting processes in project management;
  • Business and Commercial mindset; actively getting involved in assessing the business and propose new approach/methods and solutions;

Personality:

  • Good communication skills and you like to share your knowledge with our junior colleagues;
  • Passion for new technologies and innovation;
  • The ability to adapt and to synthesize;
  • Good understanding of accounting processes;
  • Able to work in an international environment;

Languages spoken:

  • A good level of English; German can be an advantage;

Nice to have:

  • Very good MS Office user knowledge;
  • Experience working with SAP or other ERP Systems and reporting tools;
