Job Description

Project Manager for Passive Safety and Driver Assistance (IPMA) for customer Jaguar Land Rover

  • Plan and manage all activities for successful project delivery from project award to SOP +6months
  • Receive new projects from the Acquisition Manager and coordinate project team to deliver the project
  • Follow Bosch Chassis Control Systems (CC) and JLR processes and ensure accurate and regular project reporting
  • Engage directly with customer teams (engineering, purchase, manufacturing, quality etc.)
  • Lead the CC project team to deliver hardware and software to the requirement specification and within the timing as agreed with the customer.
  • Achievement of business targets with high impact on CC through management of innovative solutions
  • Perform Project Risk Management and reporting
  • Project budgeting and control of development costs
  • Maintain all required internal and external documentation
  • Develop the project team
  • Perform Stakeholder Management

Qualifications

Required Essential Skills

  • Electrical / Software Engineering degree
  • Project Management experience in an Automotive OEM or Tier 1 environment
  • Experience of Jaguar Land Rover product development processes
  • Experience supporting system integration of Passive Safety systems
  • Experience of software failure investigation, evaluation and diagnosis
  • Strong leadership skills (Leading others, Leading myself)
  • Advanced Relationship Management and Interpersonal skills
  • Experience leading an inter-cultural remotely located team
  • Pro-active, self-motivated approach
  • Customer facing experience
  • Good business acumen
  • Problem solving ability and entrepreneurial thinking
  • Risk Management experience
  • Use of MS office tools
  • Fluent in English (C1)
  • Valid passport and ability to travel
