Job Description

The Automotive Electronics (AE) division develops new electronic control units (e.g. for combustion engines, comfort functions, airbags) and a wide range of sensors (e.g. for battery charge state, inertial, yaw-rate, pressure, NOx) in close cooperation with manufacturing. These products are engineered to a state of the art level both in technology and reliability and are to be found in cars of a very large group of manufacturers.

Body Electronics supporting the power management and comfort functions in vehicles like climate control, interior and exterior lights, power conversion, battery management and safe power network functions.

Your contribution to something big

►Responsible for planning, tracking and execution of development projects for our customers in the automotive industry, from quotation to end of production, ensuring quality, timing and budget targets

►Technical coordination of international, interdisciplinary development team

►Cooperation with international, cross-functional teams including sales, manufacturing, quality, technical purchasing, controlling, etc.

►Agreement of project targets with customer and regular reporting of project status to customer and management

►Apply project management tools like quality management, change management, risk management to ensure project success


What distinguishes you?

►BSc/MSc in electrical engineering, or comparable

►Experience in managing technical projects for automotive industry or similar

►Good technical skills and motivation to solve technical challenges

►Flexibility and ability to adapt to new environments

►Good communication and presentation skills

►Willingness to take responsibility and to make decisions

►Target, process and quality orientation

►Fluent in German and/or English
