Job Description

The Automotive Electronics (AE) division develops new electronic control units (e.g. for combustion engines, comfort functions, airbags) and a wide range of sensors (e.g. for battery charge state, inertial, yaw-rate, pressure, NOx) in close cooperation with manufacturing. These products are engineered to a state of the art level both in technology and reliability and are to be found in cars of a very large group of manufacturers.

Body Electronics supporting the power management and comfort functions in vehicles like climate control, interior and exterior lights, power conversion, battery management and safe power network functions.

 Your contribution to something big

► Analyze internal and customer hardware requirements of the PNG product

► Design complex hardware modules for embedded system application

► Calculating and simulating the behavior of electrical circuits and elements

► Definition of test specification and hardware validation

► Definition of interfaces to System, SW, Mechanics and Production

► Supporting FMEA, FMEDA, FTA activities

► Working together with software, system, project management and mechanical teams


What distinguishes you

►      Bsc/Msc degree in electrical engineering

►      Good knowledge in analog and digital electronic design

►      Good knowledge in embedded systems, uC, uP

►      Knowledge  in Power Electronics, Vehicle Power Networks

►      Initiative and creativity, persuasion, assertiveness and social skills

►      Self-motivated and responsible way of working

►      Good command of English

What gives you further advantages?

►      Good command of German

►      Professional experience in automotive electronics, Functional Safety experience
