Robert Bosch Technologies Israel Ltd is a new subsidiary of Robert Bosch GmbH in Israel, focusing on two main activities: technology scouting, and Artificial Intelligence research.

Our scouting activities aim to enhance collaboration with academia, industry, and with innovative startups in distinctive leading fields in Israel, such as Artificial Intelligence; Computer Vision; Cybersecurity; IIoT; Autonomous Systems and Robotics.
IT security and Artificial Intelligence are the two most exciting topics of modern computer science. The number and severity of attacks is constantly increasing from year to year. Industrial systems are considered to become particularly vulnerable in the coming years. It is therefore imperative to develop new security concepts and put them into operation. Assuming that Artificial Intelligence methods will make it possible to detect attacks on IT infrastructures more easily and quickly.
The work will focus on developing a novel solution in the field of automatic detection of attacks on industrial applications. You will work in an exciting international team of scientists, working on many exciting topics and gaining numerous new insights
Market research of solutions for the detection of attacks on industrial IT applications with a focus on processes using artificial intelligence
Evaluation of the solutions found and definition of research gaps
Implementation of a novel solution for intrusion detection
Education: Ph.D. or M.Sc. in computer science, or similar technical fields with strong links to Artificial Intelligence
Experience: in the field of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, proven expertise in security area (e.g. CISSP or similar) and minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience. Demonstrated expertise and visibility in the field of software/systems security and Artificial Intelligence, comprehensive technical knowledge in Artificial Intelligence and its subfields and strong engineering background. Proficiency in Java, C++, C, Python, tools and standards for software development on Linux platforms (incl. embedded and Android) as well as in risk analysis, cryptography and security engineering.
Creativity: High level of initiative, communication skills and creativity
Qualifications: strong expertise in architecture of (embedded) Linux system. Deep familiarity with methods and best practices of software development including life cycle management and international standards in information security
Flexibility: Travel time might amount to 10-20% of worktime
Network: existing international network with communities, start-ups, academia and externally recognized technical expertise is an advantage
Knowledge in the areas of IT security, cryptography, network communication and a strong interest in further strengthening these
