We are looking for a proactive engineer to join our embedded software development team. Our department works closely with our microcontrollers and ASICs, laying foundations for powertrain control applications. As a Software Engineer on our team your responsibilities will include:
Analyze and clarify customer requirements.
Create and document software design and test plans.
Implement and test new functionality in software.
Perform design and implementation reviews.
Support investigations and resolution of customer bug reports.
Coordination with our international design, development, integration, and project management team.
A successful candidate will be familiar with the C programming language and embedded software development, will have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
B.S. in Engineering
5 or more years of professional experience in the automotive industry using C programming and embedded software environment
BS/MS in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering preferred
SW or HW related work experiences with engine control Modules.
Strong C programming skills
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Practical knowledge of ASPICE and exposure to agile development methods
Knowledge of Autosar and/or Adaptive Autosar based system architectures.
Strong analytical and organizational skills.
Excellent problem solving, presentation and teamwork skills.
Familiarity with assembly language programming
Capable of working with a variety of scripting languages
Familiarity with electrical schematics
Background in vehicle powertrain calibration, electronics, or software.
