The Research and Technology Center at Bangalore focuses on research in Internet technologies, computer vision and embedded real time systems.  We are now looking for researchers who will pursue meaningful research by working with top-tier universities worldwide and corporate partners from our existing and future businesses.

Job Description

We are seeking highly creative & motivated researches to develop new algorithms and supporting frameworks in the area of computer vision for various applications, mainly autonomous driving. You will work as part of a talented research team, supported by a software engineering team. You'll be among the first to see and use this technology to solve real problems in ways never attempted by others.

The ideal candidate should have the ability to perform foundational research, to take initiative, to work in international teams and the necessary development/implementation skills to accomplish the proof of concept.

 

Qualifications

Ph.D./MTech/MS from a reputed Indian institutes (IITs, IIITs, IISc, etc.) or from a reputed international institute with good track record of publications in one of the following areas:

  • Object recognition
  • Visual tracking
  • Machine Learning
  • Interactive image/video processing
  • CNNs, RNNs and other deep learning approaches

Strong background in advanced C++ software development for Computer Vision applications

Expertise in concepts and technologies in two or more of the following:

  • Computer Vision algorithms
  • Machine Learning
  • Handling of large video data
  • Interactive image/video processing
  • Software architecture and design concepts

Entrepreneurial skills/experience

Work experience (industrial/post-doctoral) in any one of the following domains would be an added advantage:

  • Automotive systems
  • Surveillance systems
