Job Description

  • Project Management

    • Preparation of PIF, Prep. Of Proposal (Non - Tech) and Contract Review

    • Project Plan preparation and maintenance

    • Estimation (Size, Effort, Effort distribution, Critical resources)

    • Schedule (Critical Path & Dependencies)

    • Risk Management Plan

    • Project Goal setting

    • Raising of waiver for deviations/alternate practices

    • Review of Project Plan (Respective points in checklist)

    • Resource utilisation ( other than people )

    • Project reviews with project team

    • Schedule updation

    • Project Status Reports

    • Learning audits and Causal Analysis and Preventive actions

    • Milestone Review

    • Obtain formal acceptance from customer

    • Post project evaluation

    • Release of Resources

    • Project closure

    • Approval - RS & ATP,HLD,ST Specs,IT Specs, IT and ST Report

    • Review of Customer Documentation

    • Project billing support

    • Total Responsibility for the success of the projects

    • Customer satisfaction and customer management.

    • Regular project meetings and exchange of project information to all team members.

    • Escalation of issues to Group Manager well in time.

    • Customer Satisfaction – delivery in line with Cost, Quality, and Schedule defined for the

            respective project or projects

    • Accurate and timely PSR Data with customer feedback

    • Ensuring Regression testing as applicable

    • Technical overview of component and Delivery responsibilities

  • Operative Excellence

    • Timely Reporting to Group manager and related stakeholders

    • Maintain up-to-date records – Timesheet, Attendance, Leave, Travel settlement for self and subordinate

    • Support Recruitment

    • Tracking Efforts (includes weekly mandatory import)

    • Support Group Manager in utilization of assigned resources

    • Adherence and ensuring Data Security Adherence by the project team

  • People

    • Management and mentoring of the team members, development of team members - team building efforts. Build up second line.

    • Goal Setting to project team

    • Planning and tracking of training for team members

    • Leveraging talent in team – Foreign language, technical & domain skills

  • Interfaces and influencing

    • Provide guidance to team members and On-the job employee development

    • Conflict resolution - operational- project specific

    • KM and Idea suggestion

    • Active participation in department events like org level, Tech Day, Dept events.

    • Engage and influence PM and TM counterpart at Customer end

    • Supporting project acquisition

  • Special Assignments

    • Co-coordinator for specific initiatives within the group.

    • Project Quality co-ordinator


Project Management, SAFE certified , Agile, SCRUM practitioner , , Background : Embedded, Automovie .
