Job Description

  • Purchasing project management for North American Project Purchasing  projects f
  • First point of contact with BU and Purchasing (Commodity Buyers) support in the  technical interface with PMQ and engineering lead for customer project(s).
  • Full Responsibility of the projects from Initial quote (PEP) to customer until End of Production (EoP)
  • Responsible for projects management for Cost, Timing, Quality
  • Responsible for projects management for change management for purchased parts and technical cost saving activities (RPP)
  • Project handling and project documentation according to the requirements define by BU
  • First point of contact for BU for application topics, prepare commercial analysis.
  • Manages platform and customer projects from innovation phase until End of Production (EoP)
  • Participates in Simultaneous Engineering (SE) team, coordinates SE work at the supplier
  • „Responsible for Technical Supplier Discussions (TLG)
  • Responsible for purchasing evaluation and review (PR)
  • Orders samples and follows up of deliveries
  • Plans and prepares Pre-Sourcing- and Sourcing Meetings
  • Works out packaging concepts and provide data for ABxy in Pilum
  • Works out commercial agreement with supplier for EPC and [email protected]
  • Orders new tools, machines and follows up status; planning and initiation of new tools (ICT)

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science, Engineering or Business discipline.
  • 3+ years of experience in Project Management.
  • 4+ years of experience in the Automotive industry.
  • English 80% (Written and spoken)
  • Knowledge of PPAP packages
  • Knowledge of quality topics
  • Knowledge of office, SAP and Microsoft Project (preferred)
  • Values and principles according to Bosch values (integrity, honesty, responsible, respect, etc)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience in systems requirements engineering is a plus
  • Knowledge of Automotive Electronics development and delivery is preferred.
  • Comfortable with multidisciplinary tasks.
  • Ability to structure, moderate and promote collaboration with international teams, negotiate with supplier, support global organization, and understanding with working in global multicultural projects.
