Title : AIT Process development Engineer
Location : Bangalore
3-5 years in tool design/plastic product design or process engineering experience in molding of plastics in reputed company. Design experience with process engineering will be an added advantage.
Development of electronic control units
Interpretation of engineering drawings
Mold process development of direct packaging of printed circuit boards with electronics inside
Basic information about electronic components and IPC standards
Responsible for carry out trials during trouble shooting phase at plant or in the development activities related to new/ existing products related to assembly interconnection technology
Co-operation with international specialized teams and competence teams
Defining DoEs and analyzing and interpretation of the results
Co-ordination of development tasks with interfaces to suppliers, research, customers and production
Use of statistical tools and interpretation of data for decision making
Playing an integral role with cross-functional teams
Engineering degree in Plastics/ Tool design from reputed institutes with 3-5 years of working experience
Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering & PG or PGD in plastics/tool design with 2-3 year of working experience
Good knowledge on Plastics (Preferably Thermosetting plastics)
Good Engineering knowledge and able to apply the methodology
Experience of working with special processes and corresponding materials such as packaging of electronics, surface mounted device manufacturing
Experience on the injection molding process and worked on setting the process parameters for the molding process
Experience on injection molding tool design and knowledge on process parameters for molding process
Systematic approach for problem solving and understanding of DoE
Working experience with cross-functional team environments and a good team player
Self-driven and initiative, quick learner and passionate to work in the challenging environment
Experience on transfer molding process will be an added advantage
Good Communication skills & presentation skills
German language A1 (desirable)
