Job Description

Are you looking for a dynamic role that bridges the gap between traditional supply chain operations and modern, data-driven insights? We are seeking a Purchasing Operations (PUR-O) Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will support daily purchasing operations while helping our department leverage data to make smarter, faster, and more compliant procurement decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

Purchasing Operations & S2P Support

  • Support S2P Workflows: Assist with the daily ordering process, helping ensure purchasing activities run smoothly and comply with global guidelines.

  • System & Master Data Maintenance: Maintain price agreements, info records, and procurement master data in core systems (such as SAP S/4HANA and PILUM SRM).

  • Supplier Coordination: Support market inquiries, supplier-related activities, and tracking of inventory contracts.

  • Process Excellence: Assist with internal controls, process compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational workflows.

Business Intelligence & Data Support

  • Operational Reporting: Support the preparation and structuring of purchasing datasets from multiple sources to track compliance and operational performance.

  • KPI Visualization: Assist in the use and maintenance of reports, dashboards, and visualizations (e.g., Power BI) to provide clear insights to stakeholders.

  • Data Quality Control: Help ensure data quality, accuracy, and reliability across all operational procurement databases.

  • Process Automation: Support efforts to automate routine reporting and data handling tasks to continuously improve team efficiency.

Qualifications

What distinguishes you?

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Data Science, or a related field

  • Experience: 0–2 years of experience, internships, or academic projects in procurement, logistics, operations, or data analysis.

Core Skills (Required)

  • Systems & Tools: Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.

  • Analytical Mindset: Strong logical thinking and problem-solving skills, with a process-oriented approach to analyzing workflows.

  • Communication: Excellent collaboration skills, with the ability to act as an effective bridge between technical teams and business partners.

  • Languages: Advanced proficiency in English (written and spoken) is required.

Technical (Preferred)

  • BI & Low-Code: Exposure to Power Platform tools (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate) or low-code environments (such as Retool).

  • Data Concepts: Basic knowledge of SQL, database structures, or data modeling concepts.

  • Data Pipelines: Basic exposure to data pipeline concepts (ETL/ELT), Python, or Azure Data Factory.
