Job Description
The MDG/SAP/EC/GRC Analyst/Project Lead supports new residential HVAC product launches, cost‑reduction initiatives, and maintenance changes at the Wichita, KS and Ciénega, MX manufacturing facilities. This role partners closely with Engineering and cross‑functional teams to ensure accurate setup and implementation of Material Master Data, Bills of Material, and Engineering Changes in SAP—supporting successful release to production and customers.
- Support new HVAC product introductions, cost savings initiatives, and ongoing maintenance changes
- Monitor, track, and coordinate Engineering Changes within SAP
- Participate in new product introduction meetings and maintain accurate documentation
- Capture project data to prepare status reports and identify critical path items
- Create, review, inactivate, and cost SAP Material Master Data and multi‑level Bills of Material for U.S. and Mexico production plants
- Coordinate master data requirements across functions to ensure data accuracy and consistency
- Lead MDG system operations, including monitoring and approving master data creation and changes
- Support end users with mass data updates and MDG/SAP processes
- Administer and support SAP GRC Access Control, including approvals, access updates, and annual reviews
- Analyze business processes to identify gaps and recommend improvements
- Support and lead SAP ERP enhancements and implementations (MDG‑M, S/4HANA, PLM, etc.)
- Partner with the SAP Center of Excellence (CoE)
- Develop training materials and end‑user documentation
- Lead MDG, SAP, and PLM project planning and execution, including scope, resources, and timelines
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- 5+ years minimum of firsthand SAP experience, specifically with Material Master Data, Bills of Material creation or changes, Engineering Changes and Costing in MDG/SAP.
- Advanced SAP proficiency with SAP modules MM, PP, FI, SD, and LO-ECH
- 5+ years of experience with accessing SAP Master Data and query writing.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, SharePoint, and Outlook
- Highly organized and detail‑oriented, with a practical approach and clear, effective communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities
- Proven experience working in a fast‑paced, cross‑functional team environment
- Experience facilitating meetings, capturing action items, and managing follow‑ups
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Business, Project Management, or a related field
- Relevant certifications such as SAP, ITIL, PMP, or similar
- Experience working within manufacturing or industrial environments
