Job Description
The Head of Champion is responsible for driving market growth, channel performance, and field execution across Bosch Home Comfort’s Champion-branded product portfolio. This role provides strategic direction, sales leadership, and field coaching to strengthen independent distribution, enhance contractor loyalty, and accelerate profitable market share across North America.
The ideal candidate is a high-impact sales leader with 10+ years of HVAC industry expertise, strong wholesale distributor relationships, and proven success building competitive advantage through sales programs, channel enablement, and team leadership. This role partners closely with Product Management, Marketing, Technical Services, Finance, and Supply Chain to ensure sales strategy aligns with Bosch’s broader North American Home Comfort growth ambitions.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the North America Champion Sales growth strategy with clear priorities across geographies, distributor tiers, and contractor segments.
- Lead creation of annual sales plans, revenue targets, incentive structures, and go-to-market initiatives to strengthen channel performance.
- Identify emerging trends, competitor moves, and market opportunities to inform pricing, promotions, and product acceleration.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key distributors, wholesalers, and contractors to expand loyalty and long-term market penetration.
- Implement channel programs (rebates, training, marketing support, sell-through initiatives) to accelerate adoption of Champion-branded products.
- Lead and develop a high-performing Champion Sales team across U.S.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales/Marketing, or related field
- 10+ years of progressive sales leadership experience in HVAC, building technologies, or related industry
- Director level experience
- Experience working with a and selling to Wholesale Distribution
- Willingness to travel 50% across North America
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree preferred
- Strong understanding of independent distribution and contractor networks
- Demonstrated ability to lead multi-state or multi-region teams with measurable growth results
- Proven experience building channel programs and executing field sales strategy
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Proficiency in Salesforce, SAP, and Power BI
- Strong business acumen with the ability to influence senior leadership and cross-functional teams
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
