Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and efficient Warehouse/Driver to join our team in Norman, United States. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods within our warehouse facility and making local deliveries to our customers while ensuring smooth warehouse operations.
- Operate company vehicles to transport materials and products within the warehouse and to local destinations in Norman and surrounding areas
- Load and unload trucks using appropriate material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks
- Perform pre-trip inspections on vehicles to ensure they are in safe operating condition
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption
- Assist in organizing and maintaining the warehouse inventory
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies
- Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and customers
- Perform basic maintenance tasks on vehicles and equipment as needed
- Contribute to the overall efficiency and organization of the warehouse
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous warehouse or driving experience preferred
- Ability to operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks
- Forklift certification is a plus
- Basic computer skills for data entry and inventory management
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Physical stamina to lift and move heavy items (up to 50 lbs) regularly
- Knowledge of local traffic laws and regulations
- Familiarity with Norman, Oklahoma area roads and traffic patterns
- Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional weekends and holidays
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Proven ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make quick decisions
