Job Description
The position of Business Excellence Leader, Office of the Executive (OFE) for the deputy-CEO and Regional President (RP) of the Americas for Bosch Home Comfort (HC) is responsible for supporting the RP in the execution of daily business activities as well as special assignments with high strategic impact. The Business Excellence Leader, Office of the Executive (OFE) position offers the opportunity to interact and network cross functionally with senior leadership, lead and influence business outcomes and gain exposure to a multitude of topics managed by the HC office. This position involves proactively identifying and streamlining information for the regional president, supporting business strategy development and documentation, aligning and executing on communication to Home Comfort and Bosch Board of Management, among other topics as needed.
Job Responsibilities
Lead Strategic Meeting Execution
- Plan and facilitate key leadership meetings including Board of Directors, Regional Growth sessions and other strategic meetings ensuring alignment and follow-through.
Develop Executive Communications
- Create and manage high-impact presentations, messaging, and strategy documentation for senior leadership and board-level engagements.
Support Regional Strategy Deployment
- Drive the development, execution, and tracking of regional strategic initiatives to promote operational and functional excellence.
Manage Stakeholder Relationships
- Foster trust and collaboration through clear communication channels with internal and external stakeholders.
Apply Formal Project Management
- Identify stakeholders, assign responsibilities, and deliver results for both global and local strategic projects.
Provide Strategic Counsel
- Advise the Regional President based on deep understanding of organizational networks and business dynamics.
Coordinate Leadership Forums and Content
- Organize cross-functional leadership meetings and retreats, including agenda setting and content development.
Lead Continuous Improvement Initiatives
- Champion CIP activities and support regional policy deployment to enhance performance and alignment.
Support Executive Visits and Special Projects
- Prepare for Bosch Board visits and lead high-priority assignments as directed by executive leadership.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 7+ years of professional work experience
- Proven experience in project and change management
- Knowledge of Bosch products, business systems, and organizational structure (including familiarity with German corporate culture)
- Willingness and ability to travel both domestically and internationally
Preferred Qualifications:
- MBA or advanced degree (e.g., Master’s in Engineering, Finance, or Business)
- PMP certification or equivalent project management credential
- Experience leading executive-level teams and influencing cross-functional stakeholders
- Demonstrated success in strategic planning and aligning initiatives with organizational goals
- Strong analytical skills with a track record of identifying issues and implementing effective solutions
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments and adapt to shifting priorities
- Familiarity with Bosch business and product lines
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including presentation development and delivery
- Proven ability to maintain confidentiality in sensitive business matters
- Prior consulting or “Chief of Staff” experience
