Qualifications

Front Office Job Description

Responsibilities include: greet patients, schedule appointments,answer phone, verify insurance, handle collections, handle medical records, respond to emails, monitor and respond to faxes, update calendar, assist with patient intakes/ health histories, therapy and patient care, Includes other administrative and clinic office duties.

Minimum requirements:

  • 1-2 years front office experience in a medical practice.
  • Knowledge & understanding of medical and chiropractic terms.
  • High school diploma.
  • Experience with; Microsoft Office Suite, insurance verifications, has supported multiple doctors and/or clinicians.
  • Professional, polished and positive demeanor, detail-oriented, ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment,customer service oriented, team player, and have an affinity for working with patients.
  • Ability to work a 5-6 -day schedule, with extended hours.
  • Willing to be cross-trained.
  • Must have the unrestricted right to work in the US for any employer.

Back Office Job Description

Responsibilities include: Taking patient vitals and ultrasound, prep patient for the Dr., ensure that back office stays orderly and neat (supplies and articles should be stocked and in place), manage patient flow and ensure that patients are attended to in the office, update notes on each patient in computerized/EHR system. Cover front office as needed.

Minimum requirements:

  • 1-2 years chiropractic back office experience.
  • Knowledge & understanding of medical and chiropractic terms.
  • High school diploma.
  • Experience with; Microsoft Office Suite, insurance verifications, has supported multiple doctors and/or clinicians.
  • Professional, polished and positive demeanor, detail-oriented, ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment,customer service oriented, team player, and have an affinity for working with patients.

For both positions: in addition to meeting the above minimum requirements, the following will be given preference:

  • College degree or Medical Administrative Assistant/Front Office Assistant diploma, or Certified Medical or Nursing Assistant.
  • Experience with Chirotouch or similar EHR system(s).
