Midwest is searching for an energetic, customer-service driven Sale Associate who will be responsible for providing a great customer experience and increases in business revenue through sales. This position requires excellent customer relations skills, impeccable communication, and the ability to handle a multitude of varying situations.

Principal Duties:

• Maintain knowledge of current product, sales, promotions, and policies regarding payment and exchanges as well as security practices.
• Watch for and recognize security risks and thefts. Know how to prevent or handle these situations. 
• Recommend, select, and help locate or obtain photographic equipment and accessories based on customer needs/desires.
• Answer phones quickly and courteously. Direct and transfer calls to the appropriate associate. If associate is unavailable email them the phone message.
• Answer questions regarding the store and all its merchandise over the phone while continuing to complete other tasks.
• Describe and demonstrate merchandise; explain the use, operation, and proper care to customers.
• Ticket, arrange, and display merchandise to promote sales.
• Complete all transaction types including but not limited to sales, returns, exchanges, drop ships, defective merchandise, etc.
• Keep general area clean by removing trash, cleaning windows, cleaning counters, sweeping, etc.
• Monitor inventory stock levels and notify purchasing when stock is low.
• Estimate and quote trade-in allowances.
• Provide exceptional customer service to all Midwest Photo customers, obtain new orders, and establish new sales by planning and organizing to maximize all sales.
• Strive for accuracy in all daily activities: Accounting, inventory, and production knowledge.
• Recommend changes in products and selection by evaluating results as well as competitive developments.
• Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; making recommendations to management.
• Other duties as assigned.

High school diploma/GED preferred with 1-2 years sales experience. Working knowledge of POS payment systems to record purchases. 1-2 years of experience working with and around photography equipment.

Work Conditions: This position will require a great deal of walking, standing, kneeling and reaching daily and the ability to lift up to 25 pounds on a regular basis. Compensation and Benefits:
