About the role 

• Fixed term/ secondment opportunity for 3 months.   
• Please note the internal title is- AU Market Operations Specialist. 

Exciting opportunity for an Administrator to join our collaborative and supportive team. In this role, you’ll help keep Australian electricity data accurate, respond to queries and make sure work is delivered within required market timeframes.  

You don’t need to know everything about the Australian electricity market from day one.  

Key responsibilities include:  

• Investigating data issues to understand what has happened and what needs to happen next. 
• Ensuring information is accurate and updated within required timeframes. 
• Working through exceptions and following issues through to resolution. 
• Working with customers, service providers and internal teams to resolve queries and issues. 
• Supporting the wider team to manage priorities and meet our service commitments. 

What you will bring 

We are looking for someone with a curious, problem solving and continuous improvement mindset and the ability to pick up new systems quickly. You will ideally bring:  

• Microsoft Excel experience, including large datasets, pivot tables, basic formulas and charts. 
• Attention to detail. 
• Experience investigating problems and working out why something has happened. 
• Experience working with data, multiple systems and operational processes. 
• The ability to manage competing priorities and follow work through to completion.
