As we continue to grow, we have an exciting newly created opportunity for a Payroll Coordinator to help deliver positive outcomes through accurate payroll, trusted support, and continuous improvement in New Zealand and Australia.
What success looks like in this role:
- Employee and director payroll is delivered accurately and on time, ensuring our people can rely on a trusted payroll experience.
- Employee records and payroll data are maintained to a high standard, supporting compliance and data integrity.
- Employees and leaders receive clear, timely, and reliable support across payroll and people-related queries.
- Payroll reconciliations, reporting, and audit requirements are completed efficiently, with strong attention to quality and compliance.
- Employee lifecycle administration is managed and completed accurately, supporting a positive experience from onboarding through to offboarding.
- Opportunities to improve processes, controls, and ways of working are identified and implemented, enhancing the experience for our people and the business.
What you’ll bring
We’re looking for an experienced Coordinator who brings previous payroll experience, delivers excellent customer service, and has a strong focus on finding better ways of working. You will ideally bring:
- 2+ years’ experience supporting and delivering end-to-end payroll in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of New Zealand payroll legislation and compliance requirements, with Australian payroll experience advantageous but not essential.
- Attention to detail, analytical thinking, and organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Experience working with payroll, HR, and reporting systems.
- A high level of integrity and discretion when handling confidential employee information.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to collaborate with all teams and stakeholders.
- A continuous improvement mindset, with a proactive approach to enhancing processes and delivery.
- NZPPA certification or Australian Payroll Association membership is preferred.
