Provide support to the business, builders, architects and end customers by providing up front product knowledge, pricing, details, value engineering ideas, complete estimating and technical support. Provide timely, accurate and cost effective complete estimates along with pre-order assistance. Provide structural design expertise, loading assistance and value engineering ideas. Collaborate with project teams to resolve design issues and create cost effective solutions. Assist builders with understanding of pricing software capabilities. Mentor entry level estimators.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.

Four years of experience in the pre-engineered metal buildings industry to include:

• Review of project plans and specifications of: industrial metal buildings (cranes, bulk storage, and process loads) and large span metal buildings (hangars, bi-fold, bottom rolling, hydraulic and fabric doors).
• Design experience in: cold formed purlin, girt strength and stability; steel beam and column stability bracing; Built-Up members (3-plate, combined members sections); and standing seam metal roof.
• RAM Structural System and Risa 3D.

Two years of which must include:

• Proposals, estimating and sales experience.
• Bluebeam. 
• Seismic force resisting systems for buildings in high seismic zones.

A PE license in any U.S. jurisdiction is required.

Travel of 10% to various client domestic work-sites throughout the U.S. is required.  Salary range is $117,295 to $134,000.
