This position supports our coil coating line, BlueScope Coated Products LLC, (formerly Metal Coaters, LLC). 

Provide strategic leadership to continuous coil coating line process improvement projects, capital budget allocations, capital project management, equipment installations, and implementation of best practices, including implementation of new technology and automation across a manufacturing footprint consisting of seven coil coating operations. Support the systems, processes, and training related to these subjects, and provide technical guidance to site process engineers and managers. Ensure continuous technical development of the team members. Provide technical support for all BlueScope Coated Products facilities in terms of asset reliability and improvement, process improvement, cost reduction, and manufacturing excellence tools. Maintain highest standards in technological control systems and safe operating systems.

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Seven years of experience in the metal coil coating industry including:
• Metal coil coating line process engineering and maintenance.
• PLC's and Rockwell Automation Products.
• Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
• Leading engineering teams.
• Capital project management.
• Financial budget management.
• Vendor management.
• AutoCAD.
• Minitab Statistical Software.
• Six Sigma principles to drive continuous improvement.
• OSHA 10 and 30 certifications.
• In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree plus seven years of experience, a Master's degree plus five years of experience is acceptable.
• Travel 10% to variable domestic locations based on company or project needs.
