The Infrastructure Manager plans, organizes, and manages staff and overall operations to ensure the stable operation of the organization’s IT infrastructure. This includes developing, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing key functional areas, particularly network infrastructure, server infrastructure, data communications, telecommunications systems, and cloud systems. The Infrastructure Manager also schedules and directs activities to resolve hardware and software problems in a timely and accurate fashion.

Responsibilities include:

• Plan, schedule, and allocate resources including the planning of IS team members’ duties.
• Provide technical leadership for strategic planning and implementation.
• Manage IS projects and participate as a technical contributor to broader business projects and initiatives.
• Communicate to the Infrastructure Services team business requirements and priorities.
• Provide safe, secure, highly available data services to support the company.
• Ensure all support and maintenance contracts and services are up-to-date and providing appropriate coverage for all systems.
• Research and recommend new technologies and solutions to meet business needs. 

Minimum:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or 4 additional years of related work experience in lieu of degree.

• 5 years of experience working in one or more of the following: Data Center, Cloud Environment, Active Directory, MS Exchange, and/or VMWare

• Sufficient knowledge of Cloud platforms to research, design, and direct the implementation of solutions using Azure offerings.

• Sufficient knowledge of Data Center / SAN / WAN / Backup and Recovery systems / DR / VMWare / AD / System Administration or Exchange to research, design, and direct the implementation of solutions.

Preferred:

• Advanced knowledge of Cloud platforms (preferably Azure) and core services
• Extensive experience working with Microsoft Office 365
• Data Center / SAN / WAN / Backup and Recovery systems / DR / VMWare / AD / System Administration and Exchange familiarity and understanding.
