The Metal Building Erector II efficiently and successfully erects metal buildings which includes steel erection, wall sheeting and insulation system, roof sheeting and insulation system, trim work, and installation of purlins.

• Follow all health and safety regulations when working and operating equipment

• Rig, hoist and move materials within the work area to ensure correct positioning

• Operate power tools, aerial work platform and telescopic boom forklifts

• Use machinery to properly and efficiently layout and connect steel

• Install both wall panels and roof panels

• Signal cranes and telehandlers to hoist and position metal components into place

• Walk steel at elevation

• Install fiberglass insulation and standing seam roofs

Minimum:       

• 1 year of experience as an MBE

Preferred:        

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 10 Hour OSHA
