The Senior Market Manager guides general business strategy, performs long-term business planning, and leads daily operations of a business division segment to deliver incremental revenue and earnings growth to the company for a specific market.  They set revenue and cash flow goals, and hire and develop staff members while creating a work environment of continuous improvement

• Develop and maintain market strategy for business growth and perform business planning, including analyzing market data to identify opportunities, threats, and areas for growth; conducting market research to understand industry trends, customer preferences, and competitive landscape; and monitor and report on key performance indicators related to market share, sales, and customer behavior.
• Develop new business relationships and opportunities.  Provide high-quality solutions to meet client needs.
• Manage the market budget, allocating resources effectively to meet business objectives, and monitor expenses and revenue to ensure financial targets are met. 
• Establish structure and procedures to meet growth requirements and goals

• Develop, measure, and improve internal processes for maximum productivity and efficiency

• Hire and develop people while setting key performance goals

• Oversee large projects

• Evaluate effectiveness of marketing program and recommend improvements

Minimum:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
• 10 years of relevant experience in the conventional steel industry

Preferred:

• MBA or Master’s degree
• Professional Engineer license
