The Finance department ensures the company’s leadership team is provided with timely, high quality and accurate financial information and advice regarding actual, forecasted, and budgeted results, highlight risks & opportunities and support decision making. This information is critical to support business decisions via identification and analysis of key business drivers and evaluation of cost/benefit analysis and business improvement options. 

The Senior Financial Analyst provides monthly reporting of consolidated financial results for the North America, including advice regarding actual, forecast, and budgeted results, margin management, revenue recognition, as well as shared service budget management. The Senior Analyst also assists with strategic planning and coordinating with each business unit in North America and will support tracking and reporting of Shared Service KPI’s across Finance, IT and HR functions.  Additionally, the Senior Financial Analyst recommends and/or makes business and financial data analytic improvements to improve commercial results and to streamline activities.

• Ensure the monthly reporting of financial results of a region(s), and provide advice regarding actual, forecast and budgeted results for North America Shared Services.
• Providing support to Regional Finance teams, IT and HR Shared Service teams enabling the achievement of financial goals and identifying opportunities to extract additional value and reduce business complexity
• Deliver continuous improvement in the quality of the management and financial reporting systems and outputs for the Region with particular emphasis on improving data integrity and timeliness. Further uplift automation capabilities across the finance function
• Provide timely and accurate financial reporting/statements (compliant to international accounting standards) for North America
• Support the increased safety focus and improved performance for the Regional businesses
• Improve stewardship of the regional business assets by ensuring adequate controls and adherence to policies and standards
• Ensure adherence to the regional Delegation of Authority

Minimum:       

• Accounting degree or related degree
• 5-7 years of relevant experience

Preferred:        

• CPA certification
• MBA degree
• 10+ years of relevant experience
• Construction and Manufacturing Operations experience
• Data Analytics
• Data Visualization (Power BI or Tableau)
• SQL
• RPA (Robotic Process Automation)
