Job Description

The Process Improvement Coordinator helps identify areas of process improvement and leads cross-functional projects to improve overall quality at all levels of the organization.  The Coordinator works with the company Quality Managers to develop and maintain a strategy to improve quality metrics both internally and externally.  They also execute continuous improvement projects that align with the company’s long range plan.

  • Project manage cross functional projects identified as areas of potential quality or continuous improvement.
  • Proactively review trends in data and/or usage of the claims module to identify areas of improvement.  Ensure the claims module is being used properly and work with training teams and Brand management as appropriate.
  • Manage User Acceptance Testing teams to ensure quality IT products are released to the business.
  • Monitor warranty periods of new products and processes to ensure the company is hitting high levels of quality
  • Align and report on an overall process improvement strategy to improve quality metrics both internally and externally.

Qualifications

Minimum:       

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 2 years of related work experience in Manufacturing, Engineering, or Project Management
  • Experience managing projects and programs
  • Experience with change management

Preferred:       

  • 5 years of related work experience in Manufacturing, Engineering, or Project Management
  • Lean, Six Sigma, &/or Kaizen certification
  • Knowledge of internal company policies and procedures related to engineering, manufacturing, and builder services
