Job Description

The CA Program Manager is responsible for sales assistance relative to CC programs and supporting sales (CAMs) administrative requirements.  Upon receipt of Design Development authorization, the Program Manager is accountable for interpreting and communicating all CC Pre-Order requirements.  Upon receiving an authorized P.O. from the CC, the Program Manager organizes the Order documents for order entry and checks with production engineering as to the assignment of an engineering team (Project Manager, Engineer, Technician).  The Project Manager and assigned team are to work for the Program Manager in the same manner as with a Butler Builder.  After Order entry, the Program Manager maintains responsibility throughout the life of the Order (including A/R) as the Butler liaison responsible for communicating between Butler Order Management / Production Engineering and the CC.  The Program Manager is customer focused and assures alignment of the internal team to meet program criteria and metrics serving the CC needs.

  • Support the development of a preference toward Butler solutions with CCs, EPC firms and other third-party influencers [All end-customers or decision makers],
  • Responsible to provide communication, and communication methods to and from the CC and is aligned with the respective Corporate Account Manager.
  • Becomes thoroughly knowledgeable with CC agreement details, including legal documentation and facility development process.
  • Takes leadership in delivering on the CC agreed outcomes and payment in full.
  • Guides problem solving and decision making. Instills confidence in CC by coordinating Butler internal operations.
  • Exercises sound judgment in use of BBNA resources by evaluating the cost versus benefit before enlisting human or material resources.
  • Tracks metrics and benchmarks for improvement and assures CC program performance.
  • Maintains good relationships with internal team members, builders, and customers.
  • Is committed to achieving project success, relationship development and long-term customer satisfaction and the continuance of business opportunities and financial success for Butler and BBNA.
  • Is accountable for managing sales volume on multiple programs with individual programs being as high as $10M and major project opportunities exceeding $4M.  
  • Operationally accountable for managing other elements impacting our financials from pricing strategies, terms and conditions, legal agreements, receivable collections, and claims resolutions.  In many cases they effectively influence the project design solution, hence, impacting resource utilization.

Qualifications

  • Education – 4-year degree in Business, Construction Management, or Engineering required
  • 10 years related work experience with 8 yrs. PEB experience
  • Proven track record of High Performance
  • Extensive knowledge of non-residential Construction Industry
  • Understanding of Butler Product and Order Management Procedures
  • Experience in developing and managing strong customer relationships
  • PC competent (Including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
