Job Description

The PC/IC Manager manages staff who are the primary contacts for all inventory and production demands to both external and internal customers. The Manager focuses on inventory management, cost reduction, product delivery and customer satisfaction.

 

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Performs daily review of material variance analysis to ensure accuracy of raw material reporting and overall inventory accuracy
  • Reviews and approves daily cycle counts of raw material and finished goods to ensure inventory accuracy
  • Closely monitors plant’s production schedule to advise of plant’s ability to flex production schedule (e.g. dropping in fast turn orders or moving orders up in schedule) to meet customer needs
  • Oversees the scheduling of parts orders and directs the flow of work (batched and discrete jobs) released to the shop by the PC/IC department.
  • Oversees staff and the procurement of raw material and finished goods to ensure all material is in place to ship all orders on time and 100% complete
  • Reviews inventory stocking levels to facilitate low inventory turns and inventory levels that directly correlate with business levels

Qualifications

Minimum:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge of the flow of material and transactions through manufacturing process
  • Understanding of manufacturing capabilities and processes

Preferred:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Manufacturing Engineering
