The Systems Architect plans, coordinates, architects, and supervises activities related to the development and integration of systems and infrastructure to meet business requirements of the organization. The Systems Architect will also design, deploy, and migrate systems and services for cloud and physical data center environments. They will identify and select appropriate services and hardware based on requirements and constraints, and use deep subject matter expertise to evaluate new technologies for fit in current infrastructure architecture. Along with other duties, they will also need to help prioritize current operational demands, disruptions, and opportunities with the longer-term strategic vision of the organization. They will be the key person to provide technology guidance, road maps, principles, standards, and best practices for the team and for the enterprise. The System Architect also develops and maintains an infrastructure blueprint for the organization.

Minimum:

· Bachelor’s degree or 4 years of additional relevant experience in lieu of degree

· 4 years of professional enterprise architecture experience

· Experience in systems administration and enterprise level architectural designs

· Experience overseeing the linking of cross-functional business systems

· Strong background in risk management, the infrastructure lifecycle, data center and/or cloud planning

· Strong understanding of end-user needs and requirements

· Experience in SAN Storage administration, VMWare administration, systems and data center migrations, database connectivity and network connections, backup and recovery systems, cloud architecture and integration, and business resiliency

Preferred:

· 10 years of enterprise architecture experience

· Certifications in relevant technology
