Job Description

The Director, Brand Marketing sets the marketing strategy and direction for the brand represented. The Director creates and executes marketing plans to drive the growth of the brand through targeting and positioning. They also work closely with brand leaders and the company’s shared services team.

The Director, Brand Marketing develops strategies which improve builder engagement, recruitment of new builders, and the successful launch of new products and services to drive business plans and sales growth.  The Director implements and maintains marketing programs to enhance brand recognition, profile, and reputation to promote the company.  They maintain contact with the builder network and present and reinforce the brand’s value proposition. Through contact with the builder network the Director of Brand Marketing understands and represents the “voice of the customer” to the brand management team.  They also work closely with the Shared Services team to drive digital excellence and strategic marketing plans.

The Director's prime responsibilities are:

  • Develop and implement innovative marketing programs to promote brand recognition, profile, and reputation in target markets.  Lead strategic marketing planning to drive business, increase leads and improve digital presence. 
  • Write communications including white papers, emails, marketing collateral, blogs, social media posts, and other requested copy.
  • Create marketing programs for builders to increase their sales. Create programs in conjunction with Builder Engagement Managers and sales leads.  
  • Manage team members responsible for builder training, and builder engagement.  This team also plays a key role in hosting large-scale customer events.
  • Monitor outcomes of marketing programs and adjust as required. Determine KPIs.
  • Manage adherence to brand standards to ensure brand consistency.
  • Manage brand budget.

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications:

  • College degree in Business, Marketing or related field
  • 10 years of relevant marketing experience
  • Wide breadth of marketing experience including strategic marketing, digital, social, PR, advertising, and B2B

Preferred:

  • 10 years of experience managing a brand or being a part of brand management
