The Project Coordinator defines specific projects that are submitted as orders.  The Coordinator reviews files and their requirements to allow efficient processing by the Engineering team.  They focus on continuous improvement, cost reduction, quality, and safety.  The Project Coordinator interfaces with builders to ensure proper definition of their project and proper pricing prior to order entry.  The Coordinator ensures completeness and accuracy from builders prior to orders being placed.

• Provide customer support by directing communication with builders to help define their projects. 
  • Assist builders with understanding company pricing software and its capabilities.
  • Answer questions regarding product application, problems, etc.
  • Review builder input for accuracy and provide training where needed for program compliance.
• Justify orders by completing OCF forms and reviewing with builders prior to orders being placed.  Add items that make an order a FLEX, such as partitions, some roof loads, parapets, canopies, etc. and review with builders.  Verify loading based on jobsite location and review with builders if not accurate based on code requirements.  Support Project Manager at order entry to ensure all clarification documents are complete and in the file.
• Work with Engineering team to coordinate activities throughout engineering process.

Minimum:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2 years of experience in the Metal Building field
• General understanding and ability to read architectural drawings and specifications

Preferred:

• Associates degree in drafting
• 3+ years of experience in the Metal Building field
